This picture of a white Poppy helps me remember all the good that we do out there on the front lines. We study and perfect our individual crafts just so we may, when called upon, help. The public automatically recognizes our uniforms as an indicator of someone who is there to help when you need us. It is like having the most specialized tool and you may never need it but, if you do, you know you can always count on those who sacrifice so much personally, to be there when needed. This of course is Police, Military and Firefighters. Within their ranks they hold the virtues of: Dignity, Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty and Respect. DHILR
